Daily Bread Food Bank

The Daily Bread Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization serving communities across the Greater Toronto Area.  The Daily Bread Food Bank contacted Lighting Solutions to explore potential cash savings through lighting upgrades at their Toronto Street location.

Through a complete lighting audit, Lighting Solutions recommended upgrading T12 fluorescent and HID High Bay fixtures to energy efficient T8 in the hallways and warehouse increasing light level by 260%.

This charitable organization saved over 17.5kW and $9,800 per year to contribute to their efforts in the community. On behalf of the Daily Bread Food Bank, Lighting Solutions was able to secure an incentive from the BOMA CDM program which covered 30% of the total project cost resulting in a 4-year payback.
